PTL, the New Zealand-based manufacturer of chocolate and bar machinery, has officially established a US entity, marking a significant step in the company's push into the North American market. Having served the US market from its New Zealand base since 1988, continued growth and increasing demand have driven the establishment of the entity, which will be initially focused on service and maintenance.
For PTL, the move represents a strengthening of the relationship with its largest market. The company has seen strong growth in the US, with American confectionery and food producers turning to PTL for reliable, well-engineered, and hygienic production machinery.
"In speaking with our US customers, it is clear that they value PTL having a local presence. Establishing a PTL base in North America was the next logical step and will improve the experience of working with PTL even further. The timing is right, and the new entity will help us keep up with increasing demand. We're genuinely excited to get stuck in."
— Nick Halliday, CEO, PTL
